Job description
- Develop treatment plans and provide occupational therapy to infants, children and/or adolescents with but not limited to:
- Fine/Gross motor delays,
- Delays in activities of daily living,
- Sensory difficulties,
- Planning and organization difficulties,
- Visual-Perceptual difficulties
- Learning difficulties
- Poor social and play skills
- Hyperactivity and/or
- Inattention problems
Responsibilities
- Assessment of functional and developmental challenges in children
- Effectively write OT assessment reports
- Use of wide range of therapy techniques to increase a child’s function and independence in the home and classroom
- Caregiver training and support
- Facilitating groups and develop IEPs related to OT services in CDC Early Intervention Program
- Maintain files and records for the purpose of documenting activities
- Maintain inventory of equipment and resources and, to keep supplies in a clean and usable condition
- Participate in quality improvement projects and develop new therapy programs
Job requirement
- Minimum Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Holds a valid practicing certificate with Allied Health Professions Council·
- Advantage: Experience in Paediatric Population
- Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in team and independently
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills
- A resourceful person and team player
- Committed to stay competent and up-to-date with current practices
Working Hours
- 44 Hours/ Week (Including 1 full Saturday)
