Profile

Dr Stephanie Hii graduated with Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. She was then admitted as a member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK) and obtained her Master of Medicine (Paediatrics) (Singapore). She completed her paediatric training at National University Hospital (NUH), Singapore, and is accredited as a Specialist in Paediatric Medicine.

She is experienced in managing acute paediatric emergencies and general paediatric conditions, nutrition, growth and development, newborn baby care and vaccinations.

Background

Prior to joining SBCC, Dr Stephanie was a Consultant Paediatrician at Children’s Emergency, NUH, and concurrently served at the NUH Urgent Care Clinic. As the Postgraduate education director, she led and structured the postgraduate education program, and closely supervised trainee doctors. She was also involved in manpower planning and management. While at NUH she won several awards for teaching and quality improvement. She published several peer-reviewed articles in international journals and presented at overseas conferences. She continues to be a Visiting Consultant at the Children’s Emergency, NUH.

Dr Stephanie was Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore, and clinical tutor at Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
